Much of the mentality society has today amounts to little more than surrender. Rather than stretch toward God’s standard and expectations, many have succumbed to the type of thinking that says Scripture is outdated and Christ’s ways don’t work. May we realize we are not free to change the definitions in the middle of the game. God’s ways do work.
God chooses those who choose Him. Salvation is available to all, and those who respond to His grace are called to lead a life of holiness.
Exodus: Gods and Kings is good for its special effects and entertainment value. If you’re into the big screen experience, then you’ll enjoy it. But, if you’re looking for an accurate portrayal of the Biblical account, you’ll be very disappointed. It might be better just to wait till the DVD release.
